About this deal

This Samsung 50-inch QLED 4K TV comes in at a good size for just about any room, as it’s not too big and not too small. It is a piece of cake to this speaker when it comes to filling very large rooms of houses with music. We’ve included several of the loudest large Bluetooth speakers and the loudest Bluetooth speakers in smaller sizes in case portability is important to you. The battery life and playtime depend on the volume but also on the type of music (bass heavy music means more subwoofer movement which further means shorter playtime). Not only were we so impressed with the massive sound output, impactful bass and crisp highs on this speaker, you also have the added option of adjusting the EQ settings and pairing the Exos-9 with another Exos-9 for dual sound performance.

One of the reasons why the Exos-9 sounds so good is because of its 6 internal acoustic drivers that maintain a sense of balance between the highs and the midrange, keeping them present and detailed. However, if you're looking for a more modern speaker with features like AirPlay, Google Cast, voice assistants and Spotify built, you'll have to look somewhere else - the Aiwa Exos-9 is the modern equivalent of an old-school boombox. The sound quality of the Soundboks Go is honestly what we had expected, given our experience with the Soundboks 3. It should be noted that I have absolutely no affiliation with AIWA, I am not receiving any incentive for this review or to sweeten things out.I haven’t tested it for that long, but I was able to use the Exos-9 for 8 hours at moderate volume with no issues. It can be seen that these wireless speakers are very much similar in almost everything, only difference is the ability to support current technologies like Airplay, Spotify connect,s and the likes. Unlike the Soundboks 3, the Go measures only slightly larger in size than competitors like the Hyperboom or Boombox 2 and weighs in at a much more manageable 20 pounds. Neither speaker is broken, but since they haven't made any major updates to their speaker line I'm wondering if there are any good competitors products out there.

Fidelity sound systems is focused on publishing helpful guides for our readers who are looking for insightful guides in the audio and video receiver gear. While the Exos-9 is slightly larger than most wireless speakers, it weighs a mere 13 pounds which makes it quite portable to carry around. This Bluetooth speaker is designed to literally rock a party with a massive 200W of pure audio authority. So, 20W speaker is good enough for some nice background music, but it’s not good enough for parties and large events.Maybe they wanted to pay their respects to famous Aiwa boomboxes or to match this well-known name with a well-known design and make the product recognizable. It’s small enough to take anywhere, tough enough for the road, and loud enough to get the party started. This speaker’s entire area is black in color and comes with small silver accents like the aluminum volume knob.

Aiwa Exos-9 review | TechRadar

While the bass may not be as big as some other speakers, the MEGABOOM 3 provides a fun and bassy sound, making it great for small parties. The speaker comes with an IP67 (IPX7) waterproof rating and is enclosed in a tough enclosure that resembles more of a small jerry can rather than a speaker.Even though the manual shows how the EQ arrows work, it’s still complicated so I just leave the EQ set to off. Exos-9 does have a removable Li-ion battery, but you should check the aviation regulations and airline policies before you schedule your flight.
