During distance healings, I work with your horse remotely via pictures. I’ll then provide you with a typed report and a video recording of what the horse communicated through me. The first part of any spiritual journey involves working on you, to become aware of your own energy system. Many people have similar warm feelings toward domestic horses. But do horses possess the same ability to recognize and respond to human emotional cues? This question prompted three Japanese-based researchers to investigate. The aim of this course is to give you an understanding of not only how to give healing to horses. But also, to learn what affects the horse; it answers the question of what do horses want from us. It will teach you to connect with horses in a way you never thought possible. Every horse is different just like you and I, they also feel and experience every emotion we feel. If you think about what horses go through in the hands of people there are many things that can cause their energy system to be disturbed. At the end of this course, you will have gained enough knowledge to enable you to give healing to horses in a straight forward, intuitive and professional way. The course involves you working from home and attending group workshops every month at the healing centre in Dorset.

The NIDCD also is supporting a researcher who is planning to make a "map" of all of the genes, proteins, immune system cells, and bacteria present in the normal larynx so that we can better understand the changes that happen during chronic inflammation of the larynx (laryngitis). Using these findings, models will be made that can be used in the lab to develop and direct future interventions for the prevention and treatment of inflammatory diseases of the larynx. Watch any horse carefully and you will be surprised at how much information the position, movements, and facialexpressions convey, not only to other horses, but also to humans. When the horse is ready and this can take a few sessions I ask the horse if they are ready to join with their new person. I tell them we will do it together and I ask the horse to take a step towards the new guardian. We then take a breath and when the horse is ready I ask the person to stroke the shoulder and when accepted to keep the hand still. We then wait for the horse to feel the connection , to allow the flow of energy between them both. When the sign is given we can then start to really bring them together. For their future to start slowly with no expectations but building a relationship built on love and trust. Once we have arranged the appointment I will send a questionnaire to fill in, and request photos of your horse the day before the healing. I ask that your horse is not worked after the appointment. Module 2 for those attending workshops at the healing yard we will be working with the healing herd.

Very occasionally however it can be a warning symptom that something more serious is wrong with the throat or voice box. This is especially important to remember in people who smoke and if the hoarseness persists or seems to get worse over a period of several weeks. Gastroesophageal reflux (GERD). GERD—commonly called heartburn—can cause hoarseness when stomach acid rises up the throat and irritates the tissues. Usually hoarseness caused by GERD is worse in the morning and improves throughout the day. In some people, the stomach acid rises all the way up to the throat and larynx and irritates the vocal folds. This is called laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR). LPR can happen during the day or night. Some people will have no heartburn with LPR, but they may feel as if they constantly have to cough to clear their throat and they may become hoarse. GERD and LPR are treated with dietary modifications and medications that reduce stomach acid. Along with horse rider insurance, getting your horse to respond immediately to your commands is a sensible way to protect yourself and your equine companion from harm. People suffering from the following symptoms should seek urgent medical advice from their family doctor (GP):In another study, researchers are working with two groups of student teachers in the United States and China to test the effectiveness of voice hygiene education on its own and with voice production training. The researcher hopes to see how successfully the techniques prevent future voice problems in teachers who have healthy voices at the beginning of the study versus those who already may have some voice problems.

Medications for gastroesophageal reflux ( GERD) or allergies can treat hoarseness if either of these is found to be the underlying cause. Equine language intersects closely with the senses: hearing, sight, smells, touch, and taste. Based on use of their senses, horses then react to their perceptions through movement of facial features, body and limbs, and vocal signals. Facial feature language You will learn the first step in communication, it is how every being communicates and that does not require words.Instead of giving you both time to bond and form a relationship, people listen to those around them. The comments of get on and ride it, when is your first competition greets your ears. For some you know it isn’t right everything is telling you from the horse to your gut instinct that time is needed. But it takes guts to say to people “oh I am giving us time”
