L'Homme Idéal Eau de Parfum embodies the ideal man, a reflection of the highest luxury and a grand style. Not likely as the profile for my nose is close enough to EDP and I already have an almost finished small bottle and an unopened big one for that.

Wow can't believe im saying this, at first i was like wow this smells so amazing, lots of people say this is a great signature scent so i made it mine, however after a month of usage, i gotten very bored of it. Sprayed 6 spays at 7am, at 2pm a lady at work a metre away commented on the lovely smell and said that she noticed it through the hallway. The composition features an aromatic, somewhat medicinal opening with a combination of bitter orange and rosemary.Opens up a little powdery, dries down to a gorgeous, citrusy, almondy, tonka bean smell with a hint of cedar in the back. The vanilla gives the cherry and almond a creaminess which is just infection, whilst the spice and citrus round it nicely and it only gets better as it dries.

However the cherry🍒 is too syrupy for me, it literally smells like cherry syrup for a while in the mid and then the vanilla comes around and it turns a bit heavy for my taste (I'm not a fan of vanillas, they either hit or miss for me), also the incense is strong when it dries and I've recently realized I can't take incense notes on my skin, they turn my stomach a bit. The fragrance has a backbone of tonka and cedar which provides structure, and a mild leather which breathes a masculine life throughout the longevity. Don't get me wrong - this is a sweet scent; and it could not be otherwise with the almond+tonka combo.The mid is where the sweet yummy vanilla scent comes into play, and you can notice the warm spiciness too it. L’Homme Ideal EDT, often overshadowed by its counterparts, remains the foundation of the line, deserving recognition for its groundbreaking awesomeness. I consider this EDT superior to the otherwise beloved EDP, since I find the cherry in that other formulation renders the composition unnecessarily heavy. L'Homme Ideal EdT is a rather classy but easy-going almond-centered scent that opens with a rather fresh aromatic citrus opening immediately doused in the L'Homme Ideal signature amaretto (orange peel+almond) accord that stay throughout its life.
