About this deal

Update NRW has just sent us this revised version of their original statement: We know our visitor centres are a much-loved resource among locals and visitors from further afield and. It is possible that this may be true as some companies specialize in making a product and then rebrand them for sale by other companies.

A few years ago, members of the Fountain Pen Network suggested that the German Stationery manufacturer Pelikan make the bottled ink for Cross. At the time of writing this, Cross makes three different Selectip refills, a gel rollerball, jumbo ballpoint, and a porous point fineliner. I have a very old silver pen with no brand name, the current refill is an old plastic (like the bic pens) sstraight but with two knobs about two cm from the bottom.Cross-fountain pen ink is not harmful to pens and can be used in any fountain pen with an ink convertor fitted that enables bottled ink. If you are having continued issues with your pen, we would advise going back to the retailer you bought it from. Some brands have specific sizes and profiles to fit their pens, some take standard sizes, some brands even do refills designed for other brands. The Schneider Express 785 ballpoint pen refill is another refill that is compatible with Cross pens that use their Classic ballpoint pen refills. The Standard International Ballpoint Refill (also known as 'Parker style' or 'G2') has a length of 98mm.

Cross do a Jumbo Ballpoint Refill which is designed to fit in any Cross pen which is compatible with Cross Selectip Rollerball Refills. Cross ink converters are a bespoke size and cannot be used in any fountain pen manufactured by another brand. They will also be able to help you find a suitable pen if you can not get finer refills for your pen. Luckily, every Cross pen—from the Calais Chrome ballpoint pen to the Century II Black and Gold Rollerball—opens the same way. The great thing about Cross Selectip pens is that even though they have a traditional rollerball fitted, they can be swapped out for a different type of Selectip refill.I'm excited about the possibility of not having spent 20-something bucks on a pen that I'll never use (even though I suppose that's a small amount to spend to a lot of the people on FPN. The Cross Selectip jumbo ballpoint pen refill has a medium tip and is available in black or blue ink. Trying to find refills for a Lamy stainless steel ballpoint pen purchased in Paris at the Pommpadieux (sic) Museum a while back. These writing instruments have a lifetime quality warranty, meaning you will need a consistent supply of ink, depending on your usage.
