i finished college and knew the ins and outs of anal while she still thought she pees and fucks from the same hole. I enjoyed watching Emery and Nash's relationship develop but wish we'd seen more of them as a couple, instead of the small snippets that we get in the epilogue. Could she be any more self-sacrificial, infuriating, contradicting, confusing, generous, deviant, remarkable, or fucking goddamn consuming?Falling in love with you is like diving blindly into a book, not knowing it’s destined to be my favorite. it just drags out what they’re originally trying to say, but by the end of what they’re saying…i wouldn’t even comprehend what they were trying to say because my comprehension was buried with all this nonsense. I think my other favorite moments were any time Nash made himself vulnerable, whether it was with Emery or Delilah. i found myself just reading the dialogue so that’s my secret on how i finished this 700 page book so quickly. The book had a promising premise; the beginning was good with an interesting backstory, but unfortunately, the execution fell short.

At first I coudln't decide if the thought of so many romance novel clichéès bothered me or amused me, but Huntington's writing was so good, the story so engrossing, the characters so deliciously flawed and imperfect yet so lagom, I couldn't help but let that one slide and go with the flow. they were whispering, so they didn't recognize their voices like that 🤪 omg hope you find it better than i found this one.I've read shit ton of books where the plot is meh but the characters are lit and this book missed on both the accounts. A sizzling, chemistry-filled enemies-to-lovers romance, which is both crackaliciously addictive and angst-central. It is the hope that you will die before your one true love because you cannot bear to live without them. Best book i’ve read in a LONG time and i’ve made my way through quite a lot of romance novels over the past few months. As a person who loves words, I really enjoyed Emery’s love for “magic” words and her ability to work through difficult times and/or emotions by putting words on tshirts.
