About this deal

So it's around a similar value to the Cadbury egg, if not on sale, and offers another nice option if you don't want a Cadbury Easter Egg. Kit Kats are a combination of crispy wafers and smooth chocolate coating. However, does this delicious candy also have eggs in it? While Kit Kat bars do not contain eggs as part of their ingredients, it may be crucial for some people to consider other allergens that may be present.

Sadly, it doesn't get better from there. At first, I thought the chocolate was a little less impressive than the standard of Galaxy that I know, but then I realised why. The chocolate egg itself is exactly the same as the Malteser egg. The KitKat egg was surprisingly good, and offers a nice alternative to Cadbury (Image: Corey Bedford/LeicestershireLive) The Kitkat bunnies are quite nice, too. The chocolate is nice, like the egg, with small pieces of wafer inside them. Would I rather have actual Kitkats in the Easter Egg? Of course. But it's a nice addition that makes it feel more like an Easter egg. Up next is the first offering from Mars Inc, the Malteasers Teasers egg. Breaking it down, the overall box comes in at 220g, consisting of a 150g large chocolate egg and two 35g Teasers bars. Calorie-wise, the Maltesers egg comes in at 792 calories with a recommended six portions of 132 calories. The Teasers bars come in at 187 calories each, bringing the calorie count to 1,166 calories overall. Interestingly the flavour is much stronger than the taste - you get a real waft of the salted caramel.Cadbury is the classic staple when it comes to Easter Eggs. However, Mars and Nestlé also put out plenty of options for families to consider.

Maltesers provide a good offering, but the egg was a bit underwhelming (Image: Corey Bedford/LeicestershireLive) Last but not least, we have Nestlé's KitKat Easter Egg. This box consists of an 150g chocolate egg and two 29g KitKat bunnies, coming to 208g overall. The chocolate egg comes in at 795 calories, made up of eight recommended servings of just under 100 calories. It was a bit more of a plain flavour, a more basic, cheaper chocolate, almost. It wasn't off-putting, but could have been better. The breakability was good, though, the chocolate was a little thinner than the Cadbury egg and broke easily into lots of smaller pieces. Chocolate Egg Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Dried Whole 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤, Cocoa Mass, Butterfat (from 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤), Lactose and Proteins from Whey (𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤), Whey Powder (from 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤), Vegetable Fats (Palm, Shea), Emulsifier (Lecithins), 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤 Chocolate Egg Shell contains Cocoa Solids 25% minimum, 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤 Solids 14% minimum and Vegetable Fat in addition to Cocoa Butter KitKat® Chunky Sugar, 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐫, Skimmed 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤 Powder, Cocoa Mass, Cocoa Butter, Vegetable Fats (Palm, Shea), Butterfat (from 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤), Emulsifier (Sunflower Lecithin), Raising Agent (Sodium Bicarbonate) A brand new innovation, Aero Melts are delicious buttons of light and bubbly chocolate that melt effortlessly in the mouth for a moment of chocolatey indulgence. So, I was given the task of buying some of the biggest names on our shelves, giving them a nibble and ranking them. I bought a Cadbury Creme Egg Easter Egg, a Maltesers Teasers Easter Egg, a Galaxy Enchanted Eggs Easter Egg, and a KitKat Easter Egg. Getting into the taste, the chocolate tasted good, it had a bit more of a snap to it than the Cadbury chocolate egg, but had a good sweetness to it. It did feel like it was missing something compared with the Cadbury egg, though. Milk: Kit Kat contains nonfat milk, lactose, and milk fat. It is important for individuals with lactose intolerance or milk allergies to be cautious while consuming Kit Kat. Soy: The presence of lecithin in Kit Kat indicates the use of soy as an ingredient. Individuals with soy allergies should be mindful of this. Aero Senior Brand Manager Marion Miles said: " Aero is renowned for its unique combination of chocolate and bubbles that melt effortlessly in your mouth, giving you a little uplifting moment. The science and technology behind Aero made it unique from the start - but we continually look for new ways to innovate and delight fans. We are thrilled to introduce a completely different way to experience our famous bubbles this year, with new Aero Melts. Perfect for sharing, Aero Melts flood the mouth with bubbly chocolate for a truly delicious treat."

I'd still give it a solid 7/10, just for presentation of the interior, the better value for money, and the chocolate on offer was still nice enough and enjoyable. Galaxy Enchanted Eggs Presentation-wise, the box also comes with a basket-style inner card, but the enchanted eggs came in a very plain white bag, not very "enchanted" looking as the name suggests. Nestlé is the world's largest food and beverage company. With more than 2000 brands ranging from global icons to local favourites, we are present in 191 countries around the world. www.nestle.co.ukWatch: I tried tinned tomatoes from Aldi, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, M&S and others - and one tasted like water Also new from KitKat this spring is the KitKat Chunky Lotus Biscoff Giant Egg (274.5g), which is set to become one of the must-have gifts for Easter 2022! This appetising egg offers KitKat fans their first chance to try the hotly anticipated KitKat Chunky Lotus Biscoff, which will be coming to the UK market later this year. The newest Chunky flavour features the brand's trademark crispy wafer topped with a delicious Lotus Biscoff filling, all covered with smooth milk chocolate. The Giant Egg compromises a milk chocolate shell egg alongside three full-size KitKat Chunky Lotus Biscoff (41.5g) bars. Let’s examine if any of these allergens are in Kit Kats. These are the allergens found in this candy:
