I can't compare it to Dylan Blue as I have never smelled it,but if they are similar I might need to check it out.

There is nothing ground breaking here or unique, but if you want a nice fresh blue fragrance, this is for you.

It's a mix of sweet, wood, aromatic, floral, green and powder aromas that adds musk and baby powder notes on the drydown.

It starts out smelling like "Dior - Sauvage" when sprayed, dries down to "Paco Rabanne - XS" at the mid-stage, then shifts to Dylan Blue for the rest of it's active phase. This was a nice surprise test it today and love the opening, the drydown is nice it got an 8/10 from a girl at the office. During its entire lifetime I do not get any tobacco even though it is listed and the woddy notes in the dry down are also weak at best.A truly exquisite scent in a beautifully designed bottle, bentley for men black edition eau de parfum spray is a mysterious fragrance. Has the ambroxany vibe that reminds a little of Dylan Blue but its not that blue to be considered close to it; this is more of a dressed up formal distant cousin that has never met the other. Unfortunately, it is my least favorite of the Bentley lineup, and at the end of the day, I just don't love it. I was looking for something that doesn't grap as much attention as Sauvage and something more office friendly. I'm relatively new to perfume and have covid nose but I have no idea what people are talking about when they say this is generic or smells like everything else.

but "Bentley - Black" has a little bit more character, personality and flavor development than "Dylan Blue" does.It has a definite “basic” masculine skeleton but feels slightly more interesting than most others in the same vein. Like ChilledSpice said, it's not a blue, but it's a nice clean, floral and woody, soapy, office friendly kind of fragrance. Like an impeccably cut Savile Row suit, For Men Black Edition reflects the absolute sophistication of a man who will accept nothing but the best. This is, quite literally, the 1996 formulation of "Paco Rabanne - XS" that came in the clear glass bottle with flip-top.
