About this deal

I was sceptical of soap bars because I feel like in the past my skin would get drier. It is still a case-by-case bases. Having tried Nuddy soaps on my body and I didn’t find it drying. I do however use body lotions every day, as it’s important to restore moisture in my skin otherwise I get eczema. Especially when nowadays, whilst we aimlessly search for the next best thing to take home to mum, the words ‘clean’, ‘free from’ and ‘natural’ carry little to no weight because frankly, they’re everywhere and can be a little overwhelming. Say goodbye to flat, lifeless hair and hello to hair with body and shine so you can look like you just stepped out from a pricey blow dry, every day! Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Aqua (Water), Polyglyceryl-4 Laurate, Glycerin, Parfum (Fragrance), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Argania Spinosa Oil, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool, Citronellol, Geraniol. The den was electric this evening as Touker Suleyman and Steven Bartlett’s boxing match played out on TV. Suleyman didn’t take kindly to being “interrupted” by the Diary of a CEO podcaster when questioning Nuddy founder Kassi Emadi over her business’s financials, and he sure let him know it.

Soap bars are a really fantastic and easy switch to make this happen. It’s one less bottle with every bar you use. From a travelling point of view, soap bars of course not being liquid, means no unexpected spills, and no liquid restrictions. Just make sure you give them a chance to dry so they don’t get soft! So, what’s your skin type? In past times, you may have been after a product that was rich, full of fragrance and popular amongst the ladies, after all, you’ve never considered yourself the sensitive type. Truth is, 60-70% of women and 50-60% of men are indeed sensitive souls when it comes to their complexion. Typically, the bubbles that form from liquid body washes come from the harmful SLS and foam boosters that they contain. Because of this, most people tend to believe that it’s impossible for a soap to lather as well . Alas, this just isn’t true . It’s a phase used to describe transitioning over from liquid shampoo to bar shampoo, because sometimes with other brands your hair might take a while to get used to the new cleansing agent.

Our brand-new Acai Berry & Peach shampoo bar is ready to shape up your shower time like no other, and it’s bound to make you want to lather, rinse and repeat all year round. Okay serious stuff over, let’s talk about these super cute soap bars from Nuddy… Where my love of soap bars started FACT: when you use a bar of soap, it lifts and rinses dirt and germs from your skin, so in the same way they are removed from your skin, they are removed from the bar. Keep reading to find out all you need to know about our new shampoo bar, from how to use it to how to store it and how LONG we’ve been developing it. As the bar trend is moving north of the body, we’ve got the low-down on all things nuddy shampoo bar for you! It’s totally up to you! If you have particularly dry hair, then using a conditioner after using our shampoo bar will of course make your hair softer. So, if you’re up for creating a smaller carbon footprint and using a shampoo bar that’s luxurious, lightweight, long-lasting and eco-friendly – but you also want an at home blow dry effect, then you’re in the right place. Essentially this means we mill our soap three times to get it perfect. Too little milling can mean the ingredients aren’t mixed well enough, and going overkill can deduct too much water from the mixture. It’s most definitely an artform. Triple milling ensures more actual soap is produced, the longevity of the bar and a smoother formula that glides onto your skin. No hard lumps or exfoliating textures means no physical irritation to the skin. Just what we like to hear. Whether you regularly get #inthenuddy or you’re a first timer (don’t worry, we’re gentle), I’m here to help you make a more celestial-but-by-no-means-scientific decision on which soap to add to your basket. Honestly, I feel like I’m hosting an episode of The Bachelor here, I’m so excited for you. Get rid of all your knots and tangles with a hard bristle brush or comb and wet your hair. There’s then one of two ways you can use a shampoo bar:

Wet the bar and rub this directly onto your hair in circular motions, making sure to try cover all areas. I don’t think that this soap lasts any longer than regular soap. The claim on the set of five bars is that it’s enough soap for six months, and maybe it is. But it’s being used at roughly the same pace as most other soaps I’ve used, so maybe all soaps last this long? I don’t find this to be a negative about the soap but it’s worth noting since it’s touted as a selling point. Pro: Pricing Why not? It was easy enough to make the soaps vegan friendly, so the question I asked myself was why would we not? We want everyone to be able to use nuddy bars, we want them to be all inclusive. After all they’re amazing and no one should have to miss out. Why is it important that we buy into the vegan market?

DELIVERY AND SHIPPING

I seriously struggled to decide which soap to try first, when I say they smell incredible I am not lying. I went for coconut in the end because it’s one of my favourite scents but I can’t tell you how excited I am to work my way through my stash. The mango one smells like the most delicious ripe mango, the mint… I just want to bite into (but won’t!) and you cannot beat the delightful refreshing scents of grapefruit and lemon and lime. They are all crowd pleaseers for sure. Aren’t soap bars unhygienic? Soap is and always has been, an essential. Yet in the last few weeks, soap has become not only a sold out item on my many shelves but has really shown the importance of washing properly and for longer than you would expect. I don’t want this blog post to be all about Covid-19. Nor do I want to encourage panic buying, as it just leaves vulnerable people without, and feeds the problem. I think the advice of buying one or two extra things in your shop is sensible. And soap should definitely be on your list in a sensible quantity. Whatever you are using, keep your hands clean. Look after yourself and look out for others.
