About this deal

I’ll only discuss the home-use Pro Series models (i.e. Pro EXP, Pro 50, Pro 24). I won’t discuss the Commercial Pro Series dumbbells, which cost A LOT more and are typically used in athletic training facilities.

There are 3 models within the Pro Series. This includes an expandable model and two non-expandable models: As for the ports, there's a lot of them. 12 AC outlets and six USB Type-A ports mean that you'll never run out of a place to plug in again. There's just no USB-C port, unfortunately, but that can be easily remedied. It’s overall more durable so it can handle rougher commercial gym use conditions. However, because these are likely to be used in tougher settings, they have a shorter 1-year commercial warranty, as opposed to the 5-year limited home use warranty that the Pro EXP has. Admittedly, 11kg isn’t really heavy enough to make good progress on the bigger movements, such as squats and pressing, but incorporating the weights into higher-rep or slow tempo sessions reaped solid rewards in the form of burning muscles and aching limbs a day or so afterwards.

if you're happy to spend more to go heavy, you might want to consider getting the Bowflex SelectTech 1090i Adjustable Dumbbell, sometimes also called the 'Rolls Royce of dumbbells'. These beefy 'bells from Bowflex offer a phenomenal spread of 4 kg to 41 kg in a product with a footprint a little bigger than a standard large dumbbell. The Malwarebytes Premium edition includes preventative tools like real-time scanning and ransomware protection; however, we will use the Free version to clean up the computer. One particular element I liked and thought was much better than rivals from Bowflex and Men’s Fitness is the fact that the weight plates don’t require their own plastic tray. With the aforementioned rivals, you have to first lug the dumbbells (with maximum weight selected) and then the plastic tray into position if you want to be able to swap weight plates without them flying all over the place. That is, the Elite Series expansion kits won’t fit on the Pro Series dumbbell sets and vice versa. Admittedly, these are fairly niche moves and it’s highly likely you’ll have access to a gym (when they open) or boast an existing dumbbell collection of you are throwing crush grip press outs or super heavy sumo squats into a routine. That said, they only offer one grip style, making it difficult to adopt a crush grip (two hands around the handle), nor can you grasp the ‘bell’ element of a traditional dumbbell when performing goblet sumo squats and the like.

Like you mention, there are other mentions of urethane issues online, and while I don’t know the specific circumstances of those cases, the ones I’ve seen are from the discontinued Urethane Series — which have since been replaced by the Pro Series. This malware removal guide may appear overwhelming due to the number of steps and numerous programs that are being used. We have only written it this way to provide clear, detailed, and easy to understand instructions that anyone can use to remove malware for free. The Stage 1 set (5-50 lbs) and Stage 2 set (5-70 lbs) can of course be upgraded later to get the full 90 lb capacity by getting the Stage 2 expansion kit (50-70 lbs) and Stage 3 expansion kit (70-90 lbs) separately. NOTE: Although the 90 lb Pro EXP Stage 3 set would be my ideal first choice, I understand that budget is very important for most people, myself included… Finally, some surge protectors are equipped with fail-to-safe conditions, also known as automatic shutdown technology and "fail to shutdown". When the surge protector experiences a surge and the arrestors reach their end of life, the device stops sending power to your devices, telling you in no uncertain terms that it's time to replace it. How to choose the best surge protector for you It can’t do micro-adjustments of 2.5 lbs since it doesn’t have adder weights. However, it can still do 5 lb increments which are small enough for most exercises most of the time. The risk from using public charging stations may be small, but a USB port is always a gateway into any device, ultimately allowing any charging station access to your data.

Note: There is also the Elite EXP, sold by third parties, but that is beyond the purview of this article.)

For the models that do have them, each handle comes with two 2.5 lb adder weights. You add or remove one or both adder weights from the adder weight ports inside each handle, as needed. So let’s say you have either an Elite 50/70/90 set or a Pro EXP set and you’re doing biceps curls. If 40 lbs is too light and 50 lbs is too heavy, then you can remove both adder weights from the handle to get 45 lbs. Or you can take just one out to get 47.5 lbs. This makes it so much more efficient to make progressive strength gains. It’s difficult for me to choose a clear-cut winner between the Elite 90 and the Sports EXP Stage 3. It’s pretty much a tie…
