I always have a bottle in the bar for myself, aficionados, and occasionally to blow away anyone who think that Cuevo Gold is good tequila.

Blending modern and traditional distilling techniques, añejo was first introduced to the world by Casa Herradura in 1962. Im a gin drinker so far from an expert on this particular tipple but I have to say both neat with ice and in a cocktail it was a surprise, quite smooth with no nasty after burn and some interesting tasting notes, if Tequila is your thing I would recommend this, the bottle is very nice too! It also won Golds at both the coveted International Wine and Spirit Competition as well as the San Francisco World Spirits Competition - both in 2006. For its 142nd anniversary in 2012, the company invited 142 artists, forty-four of them well-known, such as José Luis Cuevas and Sebastián.
