I grew up on my dad's early hard rock tapes went through goa and now into experimental electronica, I do like this electro-pop-rock U2, same little cheese as in the 80's but rich. The one complaint is all of the CDs and DVDs are actually housed in the inside covers rather then having individual cases (got to get the Uber edition for that). And mine is definitely a first pressing - I won it on a Radio One phone-in a week or so prior to release. U2 are preparing to release their most lavish deluxe editions to date, on October 31st this year, to mark the 20th anniversary of their seminal album Achtung Baby.Released to widespread critical acclaim in November 1991, the record topped charts around the world, and saw the band take home the Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance. The packaging was very over the top for the U2 set, with magnetic ’tiles’ on the top, hidden drawers, enamel badges, ‘The Fly’ sunglasses, numbered lithograph, copies of the Propaganda magazine and more. There is The MTV show "Most Wanted" where a fan won a chance to see a U2 show via satellite from his house.
