About this deal

Gordain has been in the RAF since he was 16 yrs. old. He has finally reached his goal of attending search and rescue helicopter school. However, something happened to call his character in question, and he is on leave for investigation. At the end of Book 2, he rescued James’ sister from her uncle, and he fell in love. The major problem, Ella is 17 and he is 22. In Gordain’s mind, that is a huge gap. Little does he know, she is in love with him but due to her early life, she doesn’t know how to give or receive love. Ruin is very different from Jolie Vines other books. It's dark and mysterious and not at all a fun, happy read. The writing was excellent, the setting of Scotland with a broody hero my favorite, and bringing the McRaes into the story made me one happy reader. Aside from those things, this is not your typical book by this author. Pffff I loved everything in it, the struggle between Gordain and Ella, the difficulties they are challenged with .... I really enjoyed this book and although the haven’t read the previous books in the series, I had no trouble; reading this one as a stand alone. This is Gordain and Ella’s story and it was a captivating one. Gordain is best friend’s with Ella’ brother James and he comes to her rescue when James asks him to help Ella escape from their evil uncle Richard. Ruin was a dark, mysterious masterpiece that I thoroughly enjoyed. This is my first book by this author and I’m in love with her style of writing. I will be signing up for all of her future releases.

Struan and Thea did not have an easy path to their happy ever after. Do they even get one? I.DON'T.KNOW. Did I mention this book ends on a cliffhanger??!!?!? Initially brought out on the Kindle again, this would first come out in 2019 on the 26th of September to an already eager audience. This would also be the fifth book in the ‘Marry the Scot’ series of novels, featuring another passionate romance in the long-running collection. Featuring its own self-contained narrative, it’s the last in this particular series, although there are arcs and characters brought over from previous novels. Each of the novels features different members of the McRae family, with this featuring Ally, who is the youngest brother amongst them all. Many of Vines’ previous series are also integrated into each other, making her work feature different cameos for her long-time fans and readers. Told mainly from Sin and Lottie's POV, this story also features the voices of some of the other characters, giving us a rounded view of what's happening to our fugitive family. This story was HOT AF!! 🔥🔥Sin is a great big hulking possessive alpha, while Lottie throttles her virginal inhibitions completely. I loved how he craved her and how his desire for her helped her shed her image issues. Aside from their combustible chemistry, this story totally captivated me. I was absolutely hooked and completely invested in the outcome. I loved the dynamic that was evolving amongst the group. Everyone had their part to play but Sin was undoubtedly the head of the family. Secrets are uncovered and more mysteries are introduced. This story was raw, dark and intriguing. Honestly, this series so far is just so amazing and gripping, and I can't wait for the next book! Ruin was my first book by Jolie and I wasn’t disappointed. I went into this book blindly and was surprise how much I enjoyed it. This had a thriller feel to it, so it kept me on high alert 🚨

Publication Order of Cocky Hero Club Books

THAT IT NO MORE SPOILERS. I spoiled one scene but I will say get ready for complex characters and ALOT of tense, suspense, action scenes and of couse romance that you will LOVE. Just a perfect read & a refreshing read😍 I love this series and how it is interconnected throughout. Found family is becoming one of my new favorite non spicy tropes, if that makes sense. Camden (Scar) felt a need to step up for his family all while trying to deal with the damage he had growing up and falling in love with Breeze. Breeze also had some growing to do while searching for her sister, doing whatever it took to get info, including selling herself. This story answered some questions but brought so many that I have no idea how they’ll be answered and finished with Burn.

Gourdain. For me, he is the highlight of this book. He is handsome (always a plus), a sexy Scottish Highlander (who doesn’t love a man in a kilt), ruggedly capable in most situations (he seems to save everyone), and he’s broken, the hallmark of a well-written hero (at least to me). Don’t get me wrong. I absolutely love Ella’s character in this book. She has a wisdom and grit about her that it never really feels like you are reading a 17/18-year-old heroine. She easily matches Gourdain, who also has a worldliness about him. But it’s Gourdain’s struggle with himself that provides the true depth to this book. He can be frustrating at times because he makes choices counter to his heart, and it causes issues between him and Ella. However, he comes to the rescue when it’s needed and redeems himself within the story. He’s kind, broody, so sexy, and incredibly capable, even when he wraps himself in his head. If you love swoony, broken heroes, then you absolutely need to read Hero. This story is told primarily from Sin and Lottie’s point of view, but also features the voices of a few other characters, giving us a comprehensive look at what’s going on with our fleeting family. This story was HOT AF! Sin is a huge, huge, possessive alpha, while Lottie completely strangles her virginal inhibitions. I loved how she longed for her and how her desire for her helped get rid of her image issues. Aside from his combustible chemistry, I was totally hooked on this story.
