About this deal

Although the subwoofer itself has a connector, I wanted to create a harness to disconnect all the signal and power lines from the vehicle. We will then arrange for your item to be repaired (or replaced, if appropriate with a new product) or provide details of the manufacturers local service centre.

The relocated power hookup is now tucked in at the corner of the console and is neater than what I had before. We still believe that the gold standard for auditioning speakers is hearing them in your own environment — that’s why we offer a 60-day money-back guarantee. To connect the BassPro Hub to your vehicle's electrical system, Crutchfield recommends a EFX or Crutchfield 10-gauge wiring kit; when purchased with the BassPro Hub, we'll throw in a package of Posi-twist solderless wire connectors for no extra charge. If you're willing to make space for an amplifier this newer Stadium BassHub may be the least labor intensive way to get the most bass with minimal impact to hatch space. You'll need to run power from the battery ( using a wiring kit like this), and then grab the rear LF signals (I assume you can use the rear deck speaker signals on the sedan and it would sound fine too, but I can't confirm that personally.

The system also includes a wired remote with controls for sub level, crossover frequency, phase switching, and bass EQ, so you can make adjustments from the front seat. The JBL BassPro Hub has line level inputs and speaker inputs that allow you to connect to any car audio system making it a great upgrade to your factory system or the bass foundation of the aftermarket system of your dreams.

V70R (auto), '05 350Z Enthusiast (6spd), '05 Ram2500 Cummins (auto), '06 Mini R52S (6spd), '19 Flex Limited Ecoboost, '04 Passat Wagon (5spd, 2.

I just wanted a nice bass filler with nothing too insane and this was just more than what I was expecting as far as sound/build quality. My suggestion would be to run the remote into your glove box or a center console and hide it there until you need it if you don't want to see it. I would put a sub under the seat or even customize the trunk panels for two Rockford Fosgate PPS4-8, for example. Anyway, that didn't work for my needs, and instead I used a fuse-tap on position 22 for the subwoofer turn-on signal - it turns on and off with ignition/accessory power. So likely taking lower door trim off and fishing wires through the firewall to the battery, but very simple stuff.I'm running an Alpine head unit, Alpine 445 mini-amp, Alpine Type-S component door speakers and Honda OEM headrest speakers on my 2004 S. Here's a link to the product page on JBL's site, but it's essentially a spare-tire powered subwoofer, which makes it totally hidden and relatively easy to install. I had no experience with car audio before but had experience repairing electronics/ computers and using power tools. And with over temperature protection (OTP) and over current protection (OCP) you can count on reliability at peak volume levels. I did this a while ago, but figured people would be interested in hearing about it and my experience with it overall.
