The Hisense R6090G has an excellent low input lag, and it's a significant improvement over the Hisense H6570G and the Hisense H6510G. the 50-inch model we tested is incredibly easy to lift and carry around, making it a great choice for those who tend to move their TV between rooms or in and out of a storage closet. Voices sound resonant, while instruments all the way from bass drums to delicate snares are drawn out clearly.
There's another Hisense TV that's similar to this one, known as the Hisense R6G or simply the Hisense R6. However, the image is inaccurate as increasing Contrast makes the image too blue, as seen in this color gamut photo. Their ULED TVs mostly use VA panels with a narrow viewing angle, so they aren't good choices for wide seating arrangements. If you have elected to receive a replacement, then a swap out will be arranged at any UK mainland address of your choice.
Like other Hisense TVs, it comes with a VA panel with deep blacks, but its local dimming feature is sub-par, struggling to keep up with fast-moving objects.
Despite its low cost, the Hisense Roku TV comes with a 4K panel, as many cheap TVs do these days, although if you’re going to be watching anything in HD resolution it can handle that just fine. Only periodic struggles with motion-tracking, and pretty much constant sonic toil, lets the side down. Faster motion isn’t as problematic, though, and in every circumstance the A7200G draws smooth, well-defined edges and is capable of generating decent depth of field.The Hisense Roku TV manages to draw a decent amount of colour out of SDR (standard dynamic range) sources, too. It doesn't have voice control but you can use the voice control feature in the Roku app on your mobile device. All the colours in between are vibrant but convincingly natural – and although the A7200G is only packing static HDR10 and HLG HDR standards, there is good breadth and variation to the colour palette. There’s also a purple directional pad ripped right from the kind of Roku remote you get with Roku streaming devices, such as the Roku Express or Roku Premiere.
It handles even complex patterns without too many alarms, and keeps picture noise to a bare minimum. With four times more pixels than traditional Full HD, Hisense's 4K Ultra HD resolution is the benchmark for stunningly realistic picture quality and pin-sharp clarity. It also has wider viewing angles, better reflection handling, and it has a bunch of gaming features like VRR support. This should help to identify what aerial you will need, and what distance range would be required for your location.
When watching La La Land, we found the film’s long, panning shots over the city’s film sets or bustling streets suffered from some stuttering in frame rate, though the motion smoothing managed to prevent these interruptions from feeling particularly violent.
