The tie-in television programmes are a month by month video playlist of tracks, from one year previously featured on a Now Yearbook album, with Bruno Brookes presenting. Track sound quality is generally good to excellent, (with the notable exception of Under Your Thumb by Godley And Creme which sounds muffled and noise-gated to hell) but volume level between one track and another is very inconsistent - and it's not just due to mastering either.

An earlier compilation tie-in with Smash Hits from 1987 did, however, include tracks from those years.

Ok, there are some big international hits here that even your grandmother knows, but not as many as the previous Now Forgotten 80s nightmare.
