About this deal

In my personal experience, I do believe that Three is throttling the speed during peak hours in my area. Two obvious “assumptions” 1) the speed on VPN is much faster 2) the first 2 seconds of speed test it could go as high as, say, 100 Mbps then comes down substantially to just 10 Mbps thereon. Three’s 5g is not in my area yet, unfortunately. This variant does NOT include antenna ports – The Router is installed outdoors where there is the strongest 5G network signal so does not need the addition of an outdoor 5G antenna.

Take Three– if you want 5G home broadband on this network, then you can only get it with the Three 5G Hub(also known as the Three 5G Home Broadband Hub) currently, but that needn’t be a problem, as this is a very good device. Then in May I started with around 100. Its a bit better today, at just around 200, but still half what its been like for the previous 11 months, which has been excellent. From its fast speeds (like all 5G routers) to its simple setup, along with other useful specs and features, most buyers should be happy with this, but to find out more – and whether it’s the right router for you – read on below. Design It’s not likely to either offend or excite from a design perspective, which is exactly what we want from a 5G router.Odd that the new router uses a bigger sim unless there are different variations of MC801A out there... I can get a good deal on the new 5g EE router which is just a rebranded Zyxel NR5103 router (their newest router). This has really decent wifi mesh and features and 4 external ts9 for external aerials. We say 'own-branded', but it appears to all intents and purposes to be a rebranded Zyxel NR5103 router, which can theoretically get up to speeds of 4.67Gbps. That's much higher than the 2.33Gbps of its predecessor and some rivals. Not that you'll be experiencing anything like those sorts of speeds for the foreseeable future. I have the Huawei 5G Hub CPE 2 and that also needs rebooting – all I get is ” we will look into it wait 7 days” and now it’s going on and off several times a day. I am trying to leave the service today

Anyway my replacement is due tomorrow (18th) but this time around knowing they B07 firmware is screwed I’ll be plugging the router in without the sim so it can’t update while i see if there is an option to ignore or defer firmware updates etc for the time being. Depends on the mobile, and depends on if you are getting a boost from having one or more bands bands aggregated and indeed if your hardware supports that as well from a modem/router perspective That’s great, but still a long way short of the theoretical maximum – though note that Three claims that its network tops out at 1Gbps with this device, so even at the top end, the hardware is capable of more than Three’s network will currently allow for.

One week on and still not fixed. dl’s of 2Mbps, maybe 10Mbps on a good day. All lights ok (6 white) but firmware B07. The 5GEE Router 2021 is actually the same device as the Three 5G Hub just with EE branding, so there’s no difference here. The only choice will be based on the networks themselves – their coverage and prices. The Huawei 5G CPE Pro (above) was notable for being the 5G router that every UK 5G broadband supplier issued – but Three, Vodafone and EE have all now replaced this with alternative models. You can still get itfrom National Broadband though, which calls it the5G WiFi Router.
