About this deal

The book further tells the exercises and techniques these long living and happiest people used in their daily routines/tasks to keep them stay active for a long time even in very old age.

Hector Garcia (Author) Hector Garcia is a citizen of Japan, where he has lived for over a decade, and of Spain, where he was born. Francesc Miralles is the award-winning and internationally bestselling author of books about how to live well, together with the novels Love in Small Letters and Wabi-Sabi . Financial Freedom gives you an opportunity, not to retire and relax, but to burn yourself in things that you love doing. The only setback I would like to mention is perhaps the beginning of the book, since I find the writing to be a bit dry and plainly informational content. For fans of Japanese culture like I am, this is a true treat, as it mixes that with a neat account of self-development.

This delightfully illustrated book gives you the lowdown on this transformative approach to life and examines how the lagom ethos has helped boost Sweden to the No. In addition to the above paragraph the authors of both books have sections on Fashion and Interior Design and my reading of those chapters it seems like they are indicating that if one's wardrobe is fashion-forward and your living space has very chic and "sleek lined" furniture that both functional and stylish, you'll be in a good mindset. The authors take us on a journey to Okinawa and ‘the village of longevity’ and you wonder ‘is it really that simple? Dealing with new situations, learning something new everyday, playing games, and interacting with others seem to be effective anti aging strategies for mind. It's not a guide og help to living in the modern world and was more "move to a cabin in the woods with friends" approach.

Francesc Miralles (Author) Francesc Miralles is the award-winning and internationally bestselling author of books about how to live well, together with the novels Love in Small Letters and Wabi-Sabi. This leads to them eating 1/3 as much sugar as the rest of Japan, half as much salt, and fewer calories but calories of higher nutritional value (bearing in mind that Japan itself already has the highest life expectancy in the world). It surfs above some areas and goes into so much detail in others, that it hurts the flow of the reading. It was incredibly fascinating to read not only the information but also direct paragraphs written by some of the world longest living people.

Alongside Héctor García, he was welcomed to Okinawa in Japan, where the inhabitants live for longer than in any other place in the world. The only takeaway is how to market a book- fancy cover, have exotic "ancient Japanese wisdom" (attributed to a anything that's not objectively defensible), and a very superficial explanation of stuff like Logotherapy. Yes, we can improve how we exercise, eat and work to some extent, but this is very much in certain socio-economic areas.

I would say that book was like a reminder for me, reiterating all that I already know to be good for me. Francesc Miralles is the award-winning and internationally bestselling author of books about how to live well, together with the novels Love in Small Letters and Wabi-Sabi. Science-based studies weave beautifully into honest, straight-talking conversation you won’t be able to put down. There they had the chance to interview more than a hundred villagers about their philosophy for a long and happy life. He is the author of several books about Japanese culture, including two worldwide bestsellers, A Geek in Japan and Ikigai . The chapters were clear and concise and for what looks like a small book it was PACKED with knowledgeable information from psychologists across the world. If you want to be nannied into being told to sleep better, eat better (somehow to objectively figure out how to fill only 80% of your stomach, never mind what you eat), don't take stress and somehow find your purpose in life (all in the span of 15 minutes of reading), go for it.
