About this deal

Administer 50mg fenbendazole per 1kg (2.2lb) bodyweight daily for 3 consecutive days. Practical dosage recommendations: For the control of lungworm Aelurostrongylus abstrusus in cats administer 50mg fenbendazole per 1kg (2.2lbs) bodyweight daily for 3 consecutive days. Puppies and kittens should be treated from 2 weeks old and then 3 to 4 more times until the age of 12 weeks. Giardia and severe clinical worm infestations should be treated at 1ml per 2kg bodyweight of dog or cat for 3 consecutive days. g sachet / dose treats 44 lbs. bodyweight dosed daily for three consecutive days (22 lbs. - 44 lbs.).

As this treatment of pregnant bitches is 98% effective, puppies from these bitches should themselves be treated with a 3 day course at 2 and 5 weeks of age with Panacur 2.5% or 10% Liquid Wormer or Panacur Paste. Treat the bitch at the same time at the routine adult dose rate (i.e. 100mg/kg as a single dose). Assess bodyweight as accurately as possible and then administer one or a combination of the above sachets, which most closely doses this bodyweight. The dose should be administered by mixing it into the feed. Panacur for puppies is best used as a liquid or paste for accurate dosing and ease of use, although granules may be used. Panacur Liquid for Dogs, Cats, Puppies and Kittens For the control of lungworm Oslerus (Filaroides) osleri in dogs administer 50mg fenbendazole per 1kg (2.2lbs) bodyweight, daily for 7 consecutive days. A repeat course of treatment may be required in some cases.Treatment should be repeated when natural reinfection with parasitic worms occurs. Routine treatment of adult animals with minimal exposure to infection is advisable 2 to 4 times per year. More frequent treatment, at 6 to 8 weekly intervals, is advisable for dogs in kennels. Panacur Granules are effective on Ascarid spp (Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati and Toxascaris leonina), Ancylostomaspp, Trichurisspp, Uncinariaspp and Taeniaspp in adult cats and dogs. In weaned puppies and kittens, Panacur Granules treat gastro‑intestinal roundworms, as well as protozoa (Giardia spp) in puppies. They can also be used for the treatment of pregnant bitches to reduce prenatal infections with Toxocara canis and the transfer of T. canis and Ancylostoma caninum to their pups via the milk. Pregnant Cats should be treated as a single dose at the usual routine worming dose of 1ml per 1kg bodyweight of cat.
