About this deal
Our portfolio of products now spans a wide variety of categories including home, kitchen, outdoor, pet, and automotive products. The tube still slides over it easily and joins the handle but it means even the tiniest bug or fly can be captured without flying straight through the metal gauze when sucked up. One 'upgrade' I did make was to temporarily remove the tube and slip a section of tights over the end, held in place with an elastic band (proper bodge job). Bought one of these a couple of years ago and have used it often for catching a wide range of insects without harming them. I added a single strip of sellotape around the base of the handle, which keeps the tube in place whilst still allowing it to be removed for cleaning/removing cobwebs.
Arachnophobes, beware: the Original Spider Catcher package contains a giant plastic spider to practice on, so don’t be alarmed when you open it. You simply turn the handle to open the container and place it over the bug before turning the handle again to secure the spider in the see-through trap. To help keep spiders off your sofa, try putting sofa covers over them which will stop them from crawling down the cracks or gaps in between cushions and sofa arms.If you believe that your personal data has been misused, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Firstly, there was no battery supplied then I realised there was no cover on the end of the suction tube to stop creepy crawlers escaping. It is the right tool if you want to smoothly let your guests out of your property/vehicle/generic area. Collection tube is quite long which affords you the chance to be further away from the beasties when collecting them.
I've had one of these for some months now and whilst I was originally sceptical about its effectiveness I can now quite honestly say it works brilliantly for its intended purpose - catching spiders. They have lots of perfectly protected, dark holes and areas where a spider will live very happily despite your fear of them. Wicker is probably the worst choice of furniture for your living room if you don’t get along with spiders.I find these are very good: lightweight and the end is far enough away that I can get the critter and only cringe a little.
