About this deal

The DCN692 cordless nailer is compatible with the newer XR range of 18 volt Li-Ion battery packs (in the USA these are sold as 20 volt, sic). I know other brands make them but I’m a huge dewalt 20v guy I’m wondering if anyone had heard about a 23 gauge pin nailer I have the other cordless guns and a “micro” pinner would make life a lot better.

You say it makes the "fire action noise", so I'll assume that when you pull the trigger the motor runs and that when you depress the nose (over-riding the safety lock-out) and pull the trihher you can hear the firing solenoid working.

If anyone has any additional questions about the DCN692 which they would like me to answer, please post them here or PM me and I'll be glad to answer them and incorporate them into the review. just under 8lbs) it is a fairly heavy tool (although lighter than the first generation 16ga first fix gun I still use) and whilst I consider it to be reasonably well balanced in the hand, for that reason I have to admit it won't for everyone. Recently I took advantage of the President’s holiday sales to purchase my DeWALT Atomic Compact DCN623D1 23 GA pin nailer kit. It's predecessors were a somewhat second-hand original stick-battery black Paslode Impulse (see below), an orange Paslode IM350/90 (my first new gun) and a Senco GT90CH.

Then you may find some non-OEM gas can oil-up the inside of your gun and stop it working (Champion, especially, for some reason). Complete finish, trim, and remodeling work with this ATOMIC Compact Series 20V MAX* Brushless Cordless 23 Ga. I know that the last 2 are out (23g nail gun in the USA not UK) or on the brink of being out (cordless belt sander). Very comprehensive and it's great to have a review from a pro joiner who has tested the gun out in real site conditions. I've used it to drive ⅝", ¾", and 1⅜" pins into maple, oak, and yellow pine and it has performed perfectly.

International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions. I wasn't too keen at first due to worries about battery platform "creep" but it's performance makes up for that. To clear a jam the user takes the pusher pressure off the nail clip in the magazine, unscrews the magazine at the nose end then pivots the entire magazine out of the way. The one negative think I noticed was the ferocious kickback it had - like a compressed air nailer running on too high a line pressure.
