the end I just figured you had to yank it off and that seemed to work. Also I think words instead of pictures to follow although a little but fiddly to get batteries in. Easy enough though once mastered. My daughter always likes a light to be kept overpriced it is reasonable for a Disney product. If there was a boy-ish style I would definitely consider it
