Cotswolds Dry Gin, made with juniper, coriander and angelica root macerated in their pure wheat spirit for 24 hours. Cotswolds Dry Gin; a delectable blend of pure wheat spirit with nine carefully-considered botanicals; juniper, coriander, angelica root, Cotswolds lavender and bay leaf, grapefruit, lime, black pepper and cardamom seed. To this a botanical mix of Cotswolds lavender and bay leaf, fresh grapefruit and lime peel, black pepper and cardamom are then distilled in their Holstein still, which is then cut with Cotswold water to 46% vol. From our single malt whisky to our gins and liqueurs, everything we make at the Cotswolds Distillery is about quality and flavour above all else.The second month was dedicated to playing around with London Dry Gin recipes, each containing 5 – 15 botanicals. The expression of the traditional London dry style comes from the maceration into their pure wheat spirit of juniper, coriander and angelica root, which have been left for 12 hours to allow the flavour characteristics to fully infuse.

The black pepper and lavender bring a really unique element but it never strays away from being a classic, juniper-heavy gin with a refreshing kick and a characterful and endlessly oscillating sweet-spice duality. Unfiltered to preserve the essential oils from the botanicals, a pearlescent haze forms when ice or tonic is added.

A delectable blend of nine carefully considered botanicals, including Cotswolds lavender and pink grapefruit and lime zest. Made in the idyllic location of Stourton, this is an archetypal London Dry from the esteemed Cotswolds Distillery. But experience warns us not to promise that this will always happen, so if you need something by a certain date, give us a ring, and we will do our best to ensure it happens. Opening with grapefruit, fresh juniper and black pepper, followed by herbaceous notes of bay leaf, coriander and angelica. Though made initially to resolve the cash flow issues of a whiskey producer, Cotswolds Dry Gin is far from a backbench project, fusing botanicals grown from within its home region’s stunning stretch of rolling hills with traditional gin flavourings.
