About this deal

It would make a fantastic romantic night scent as it is full of warm gourmand notes and heavy dose of Iso E Super which seems to a magetic, lingering and mysterious quality to the scent. The oils are very similar to the originals and have better longevity than many of these clone house scents.

The time period between late December '08 through July '09 is what comes to mind when I sniff the sprayer of the empty bottle from when I take it out of the box.The longevity is not overwhelming and you do have to spray quite a lot for it to last a descent time. I always know that when I first put this fragrance on it doesn’t just immediately hit my nose like some others I’m familiar with. These fragrances are often constructed in a different manner to the traditional French Model and are formulated in one single burst. Right from the start, you get "woody freshness" and that's when you understand that this fragrance is from Armani house. Neither of the two were appropriate for an 8 year old, not to mention that I didn't like the smell but hey, it did the trick: It felt good too smell mature.

Its a bit powdery, but not like Kenzo Power, Just enough crisp to leave you smelling like a 28 year old wearing a suit sitting in his corner office. As it enters the heart the pepper came out more and became more dominant but there was also a really sweet note that also came out that reminded me of rotten strawberries. As a designer fragrance from a branch of the Armani house I think it does have an appeal to a certain target group. These emphasise the masculinity and can be combined well with other scents of pepper, cinnamon or nutmeg. Cedar, the iconic embodiment of masculinity, is shaken up by the addictive and unexpected power of the deliciously familiar, intimate and alluring cocoa bean for an ardent dry down.

I'm not trying to be funny or to offend anyone, I'm just trying to describe the prevalent smell as good as I can by making these comparisons to real life smells.

Back in my early days of fragrance discovery, I had a serious problem with gourmands, for some reason. With its elegant and masculine scent, this perfume is perfect for the modern man who wants to exude confidence and style. The interpretation of an irresistible, solid diamond… With its recessed facets along the side, the luminous square of glass plays with rays of light, reflecting them from within in infinite configurations like a modern kaleidoscope. I think it's very under the radar in terms of getting YouTubers attention which is why I think it's a great take for someone in there 20s all the way upto a gentleman in his 50s. Unfortunately, it seems, I picked something that I like and he appears to be rather indifferent to it, even though he does wear it sometimes.

Though perhaps Diamonds doesn't uniquely stand out as the greatest, I would happily use this as a regular evening scent and intend to get more use out of it in the future. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. I love the scent of cacao, I can sense it in Rochas Désir, in Dior Homme original, in Kokorico, even in L'instant Extreme.
