To give you a quick rundown of the setup here: I have a Roland SP404 MkII (‘The Magic Box’) that I use for music, sound effects and voice clips, going into the stereo input of the Gigcaster 5. With versatile preset patches and user locations for storing custom-built setups, you’ll have no shortage of inspiration. This already simplifies what in the past has proven to be an often complicated process involving routing and lots of wires. To make things even easier, Boss have integrated a tuner and a stereo jack input for hooking up a footswitch or expression pedal.
With its ready-to-go preset library of optimised sounds for guitars, singing and speaking, the GSC-8 lets you simply plug in, play, and create! MIDI over USB is supported as well, providing advanced control of music, video, and streaming applications that respond to MIDI commands.
Similar to Rode RODECaster or Roland Aerocaster, Boss Gigcaster 8 is loaded with features and possibilities.
