Christine Falls is a waterfall on Van Trump Creek in Pierce County, Washington. The falls are 69 feet (21m) feet high and are best known for the Christine Falls Bridge spanning the lower drop. The upper drop is 32 feet (9.8m) high and is almost impossible to film in tandem with the oft-photographed 37-foot (11m) lower tier. The lower tier is probably one of the most commonly photographed locations in the Mount Rainier area. [1]Embark out on the trail and hike for about 1 mile before you reach a trail that says “Teneriffe Falls,” which you’ll want to follow.

The waterfall itself is accessible from just a short paved trail, so there is no need to cover the entire 4 miles if you don’t want to.Recently, we have chosen to put down roots in Portland, Oregon, and look forward to exploring even more of the Pacific Northwest (Matt grew up in Seattle, so he knows it well).
