The front 1440P wide-angled lens along with its unique central positioning can record a large field of view covering a large portion of the road in front of the vehicle. I recorded a bunch of my trips using the Halo Pro and posted them below to show how well the dashcam records in different lighting and driving conditions.

I have no idea why this happens, but it’s acknowledged as being by design in the documentation for the Halo Pro. Seems to be like a Second thought - just updated to allow this cam to somewhat function as it says on the apps update records. I would prefer if the dashcam had a button on it to mark videos for saving, but aside from that, the hardware performs flawlessly. It was not intended replacement for a Dash cam, but to aid in hooking up the trailer to the front end so that I could park the Oli reliably in the 3 sided RV port. REVIEW – Having just invested way too much money in a new vehicle, I am a bit anxious about any harm coming to it.The unit slides on and off its windscreen carrier very easily - and is useful for taking the unit indoors if required. But on the whole this is a solid system that records high-quality video in a simple and dependable way, with no distracting extras like driver assistance and voice control. Since the Road Angel Halo Pro Dashcam doesn’t have a screen, you’ll need to download the Road Angel Halo app for iOS or Android to view anything the dashcam records.
