About this deal

Towards the end, the novel presents us with different possible solutions to the mystery, including the one which, it seems, we should take at face value since it is recounted by an omniscient, third-person narrator. Even then, however, an element of doubt remains: “We’re not sure of the truth, are we? Isn’t that the point? Some mysteries just aren’t meant to be known…” The first book from these authors is a practical guide for lighter collectors with great photography and accurate information. Not as extensive as their second book but more practical to take along. yung pueblo's path to deep healing began only after years of drug abuse had taken a toll on his body and soul. Searching for a way forward, he discovered that by facing his anxieties and fears, trusting his intuition and focusing on meditation he felt mentally lighter and finally at home in his heart and mind.

It is about reaching the point where we recognise what has caused us to react in the above negative ways, but no longer allowing it to command or govern us - instead using the information from the past to aid us in making better decisions moving forward. Published by Dunhill Ltd for the 100 year anniversary of the company. A detailed review of Dunhill’s history as one of the earliest luxury brands in the world. The book contains several great pictures of Dunhill lighters from the Dunhill Museum. This book gives the history of Zippo, dating, companies, military, sports, boxes. It is what is says: field guide, one to keep with you at all times. A must for every Zippo collector. I also find it unrealistic in a story that everyone is unhappy, unfaithful, loves another, doesn’t love the one they’re with, loves the one they’re with but they love another, grieving for a loved one… literally everyone was unhappy. Also the culmination saw three people considering murder at the same time, is that likely? I also felt the end, not only with its supernatural element seemed unlikely, surely they would have hit the base of the lighthouse rather than the sea? It was also unrealistic that blood and a struggle could have been totally cleaned up, forensics would have found evidence. How sad the only planted evidence they found pointed to the innocent person.A rare and insightful journey into the author’s own healing journey will inspire you to let go of the past and find a lighter path forward. As always, yung pueblo speaks truth in such an eloquent way. This book is a true gem.” —Sheleana Aiyana, author of Becoming the One

This simple booklet presents an extract from the Auer-von-Welsbach Museum in Althofen, Austria. The Museum is dedicated to the inventor of the pyrophoric flint and the lighters shown are very rare models from his original collection. A must have for collectors interested in rare mechanisms. It also sheds fascinating light on the extent to which our minds are so heavily conditioned based on our past. The brain unconciously bends our perception of reality to meet our expectations or desires, and fills in the gaps based on past experiences: 'Our perception is completely coloured by our past and our reactions seek to repeat themselves endlessly'. This is a marvelous book with great illustrations and information about rare and sometimes bizarre tobacco accoutrements such as lighters.

Although no one actually knows what happened, through the interviews with the women and some literary licence, Dan poses the story of what might have occurred. What Dan learns raises a whole lot of new questions. It wasn’t all sweet with the families, there were rivalries and jealousies and misunderstandings. On the part of the men, subjected to long periods of isolation there were also issues. Amazing book with lot of great photography, history, value trends, trading, price guide, advertising, lighter clubs and other info. A catalogue of exhibits from the Stadtmuseum Weimar by Hasso Heydenreich dated June 1979.Similar content to Bryant and May but not anything like as comprehensive. yung pueblo offers insight into daily practices and choices that can remove the burdens of habitual reaction to reveal the freedom of wise reflection. In Lighter, we see that knowing the mind can transform a person, and also transform society.” —David Simas, CEO of the Obama Foundation I’ve been following yung pueblo on social media for a little while now, and I love his little sayings. When I saw this book had come out, I was excited to read it as I thought I’d get more of that.

Impressive book about WWI Trench Art and Trench Art Lighters written by the French collector Patrice Warin. Requires French reading skills. However, this is not a bunch of separate sayings, but still beautiful in its own regard as he gets to expand on the short little message I see online. Yung pueblo speaks about his own life experiences while writing about the process of healing and how to accomplish that. This manual gives great photography of experimental models, advertisements, masterpieces in history, museum Zippo lighters, clothing etc. Hundreds of Zippos inside. The first of G ü nter W. Broesan’s books includes exactly 1000 lighters and very accurate information focusing to German lighters.

William “Bill” Walker is Assistant Keeper. He’s younger, has small children at home, and doesn’t seem to be ‘in love’ with his wife, Jenny. Jenny is emotionally needy but also supportive of her husband. After twenty years, Jenny thinks that Bill may still come home. In all my years I’ve realised there are two kinds of people. The ones who hear a creak in a dark, lonely house, and shut the windows because it must have been the wind. And the ones who hear a creak in a dark, lonely house, light a candle, and go to take a look.” I felt the supernatural elements of the story didn’t fit as well as they could. One main event Sid coming to repair the boiler was left totally unexplained, why the high voice? I thought Sid was going to turn out to be Jenny in disguise, I was left wondering if Sid was meant to be the men’s conscience?

The encyclopedia for Zippo collectors. The book contains excellent historical information and a vast collection of lighter-pictures and illustrations. Your immediate reaction does not tell you who you are. It is how you decide to respond after the reaction that gives you real insight into how much you have grown. Your first reaction is your past. Your intentional response is your present.” I had no idea that the real mystery had happened! This is the kind of book that sends me down a googling wormhole. Sometimes the best mysteries an author can create are those based on real events. I absolutely loved the setting of the lighthouse. It was so unique and felt particularly atmospheric and vivid. It actually made me want to go inside a lighthouse, to experience what the characters experienced. Inspired by a haunting true story, a gorgeous and atmospheric novel about the mysterious disappearance of three lighthouse keepers from a remote tower miles from the Cornish coast--and about the wives who were left behind.
