Below the Mini LEDs are the FP and FN series.They share the same design and run on the current Sharp platform instead of the new one. The FP series is the more advanced of the two, as it features support for Dolby Atmos sound, Quantum Dot colours and MEMC motion. FP series The XLED 2000 is the top-of-the-line Mini LED TV with 2000 dimming zones. The TV runs on Sharp’s new platform, as do the other two Mini LEDs and the FS gaming TV, which includes Filmmaker mode. The Sharp Q7300U series of 4K TVs is the one member of the company's Q-series that does come with the Roku TV platform built-in (the Sharp Q7000U and Q7500 series do not). The bonus here is that they’re HDR-compatible and come with a beefier twin 10W speaker set-up. The XLED 300 has Dolby Vision and Atmos, as well as DTS:X audio support. There’s also MEMC support for motion but this TV runs Android TV instead of newer Google TV. If your power goes out, it can be an exasperating experience for the entire family. One of the main outcomes of a power outage can be that your Sharp TV goes out of service and needs to be reset to function properly again. If this happens, fear not because you can easily reset your Sharp TV if you closely follow the steps outlined below. Finally, Sharp is launching the FS gaming TV. This TV also happens to be the only one outside of Sharp’s Mini LED range that we know will launch with the new platform. AquoDimming works quite well in premium brands because these modes have quite a number of dimming zones. Unfortunately, the lower end models do not have this feature. The TVs have yet to receive official names, but the biggest difference between the three is the number of dimming zones available – 300, 1000 or 2000. For the simplest control, this Sharp TV responds to voice command via Google Assistant. Just connect any Google Assistant device (sold separately) and enjoy voice control via Google. Change the volume, channel or power on/off, all by simply asking. The display quality is actually quite good for the price. The color palettes and contrast are decent, and the Revelation Upscaler helps sharpen non-4K content for better quality viewing.Whilst the functionality and picture of the new one is fine, I regret that the 'Harmon Kardon' sound isn't as good as the 10~12 year old 3D Panasonic 43" it replaced. I guess a sound bar will have to be considered! Consumers can use basic button remote to manage and control SmartCentral. Unfortunately, this basic remote does not have a numeric keypad, motion controls or a mouse pointer. Therefore, users have to contend without any of the fancy features that are increasingly present in name brand televisions. Unplug your TV from the power source. Press Input and Channel Down on the TV panel. Keep holding these down and reconnect the Sharp TV to the power source. Keep holding the buttons down until the TV turns on again. The final Mini LED is the XLED 300 with its 300 dimming zones. This TV is effectively the same as FP series model below, but features Mini LED panel technology. HDR10 and HLG formats of HDR come as standard, and the DN series TVs also have Dolby Vision on board. The DN sets also feature Sharp's Active Motion 600 technology, which sharpens up movement and reduces distortions, and 12-bit HDR colour coding to improve the smoothness of shading and reduce banding and colour disruptions common to standard non-HDR sources. The 65-inch model has a slim, full-aluminium body enhanced with a high brightness LCD/LED panel producing 400 nits output. The new range includes a number of Mini LED displays, along with a new platform for the Mini LED and the FS gaming TVs They're currently only available as open-box models but that brings some possibilities of real bargains. That said, it’s worth bearing in mind that to upgrade to the 4K models is only a matter of a few dollars at the 50in size and - a relatively small price to pay for four times the pixels and HDR support.If you need to reset your Sharp TV and Sharp TV Remote, unplug the Sharp TV for 60 seconds and take the batteries out of the Sharp TV Remote. Then, hold down the Power Button for thirty seconds. Replace the batteries and then press all the buttons on the Remote from left to right. If you need to reset your Sharp TV after a power outage, press on Menu on your Remote and then on System and then on Factory Reset. Then press on Play or on the OK button three times. If this doesn’t work, then try a hard reset.
