I would’ve already been bored of it by now and not want to have anything to do with it if I’d paid attention to it more [ laughs]. The abbreviations are FC (full-circle in the style used for English change ringing), S (swing chiming), D (hung dead unable to swing), U (not hung).
Note: we do random testing on finished product down to 5PPM for gluten and have never had a positive test result.Appendices (not currently available online) also give information about rings of bells by number, weight, and county; a list of the heaviest bells in the British Isles; and details of changes since the previous edition.
