If you're into modding, replacing parts are not as easy as a TE2+, but in my opinion, this is worth the hassle as the frame is way better. los botones y palanca sanwa son excelentes, alta calidad, es modeable, pero fuera de buscar botones custom o silenciosos no hay razon para hacerlo, la parte mecanica es fantastica aún bajo uso rudo. Nothing, I repeat, nothing will look as good as this guy in your lap. There are pictures if you google it to see how it looks modded (I didn't mod mine yet but the procedure is almost the same as a Qanba Q4 I still have which is not that hard). It's a frigging beauty. The box was not as "nice" as the other brands like Mad Catz (it was still decent though) and I opened it with a regular enthusiasm. Of course, there is a touchpad. There is, again, a 3.5 mm mic input with a mute button, and the cable is located on the left side. There is also an anti-slip base pad.

The control panel includes PS, L3, R3, turbo, and mute, the latter of which is to mute your microphone input. As for the toggle switches: At this point, I'm all smiles and I'm so glad I didn't buy a Razer or a Mad Catz. Don't get me wrong, those are great products as well! But the difference here is that those feel like plastic toys while this feels like a piece of gorgeous well built equipment.Touchpad: It works for the most part but it seems kind of unresponsive to presses. It takes a few presses before it recognizes the left or right inputs to the pad to reset my character in Street Fighter V training mode. Not the worst thing but still think it should be noted. Despite our various issues with its design, the Qanba Obsidian 2 is a joy to use in-game. When testing Street Fighter 6, the buttons and lever all have a satisfying deep thud, and we were able to run through both World Tour and ranked matches with ease. It feels better to use than the Victrix Pro FS, and we think that the top-panel layout is pretty much perfect. Perfectly possible to mod it 100%... provided you're a bit savvy and good with your hands and careful electronic equipment. Unparalleled construction build. This thing is built like a tank and still not extremely heavy as a Qanba Q4 I used to have as well.

I can see why professional tournament winning players use Qanba. This had improved my game play skill almost instantly. Wire and compartment: The lid is very tight and kind of difficult to open and I'm scared I'm going to break it eventually . The wire is also not braided like they said in the description but ehhh..that's not to bad.

While there are downgrades from the original Obsidian, the Obsidian 2 still offers enough innovation to deserve a buy. The Obsidian is quite big, measuring 46 x 26 x 12 cm which is bigger than the Razer Panthera, although not as big as the Qanba Dragon. Because of its size, therefore, it also has a nice weight to it at almost 3kg. LED lights- While a nice touch and they do look great you can't actually see them when they are on as they are hidden in the sides . These are pretty much for other people to see . I guess it's nice that they aren't a distraction but still since I can turn them off if they bother me I'd like to see them while playing

Connecting the Obsidian is fairly simple. Just assign the switch to the desired platform, which will either be PS3, PS4 or PC and then plug in and play. We briefly glossed over thumb-screw access. Its main appeal is unscrewing the right side compartment with simply your thumb instead of needing to have a specialized tool for that. However, this does not mean that the compartment is flimsy, which is good. The same applies to the left side compartment with thumb screws. el cable no es de la mayor calidad hubiera preferido un cable modular con tela por el precio que pague, pero la gaveta donde se guarda y el cable en general son mas que suficientes. En PC el boton de PS4 no funciona y hay juegos como Tekken 7 que para reiniciar en modo practica te ves forzado a usar uno de los botones pequeños de arriba mas el boton X para reiniciar. Es tronco y es facil hacer Turbo mas X en su lugar. En street figther V obviamente no tienes el uso del touch para las multiples opciones de training ligadas al touchpad.
