the on disc supplements, the packaging here is probably going to be the biggest selling point for a lot of fans. Lionsgate upgrades American Psycho to 4K with a two-disc 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray + Blu-ray + Digital set. All in all, a surprising film which shows social irregularities and problems that afflicted a generation and how one man chooses to deal them. You're getting the excellent 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc with the old standard Blu-ray, but the new packaging is slick. Cultivating his serial killer persona as much as his yuppie lifestyle, the two sides of Patrick’s life soon begin to merge and he begins to wonder where one side of his life ends and the other begins.

Taken as a whole it's probably not the best or most aggressive Atmos mix ever released, but it works beautifully for this film offering up plenty of sonic treats. just a little blood letting, this isn't a "splashy" looking steelbook cover, though it's rather inventively designed. This release has a slipcase and they may well use their super cheap thin padded envelopes that's a recipe for disaster.

The 80s: Downtown (1080i, 31:46) This piece features participants sharing their thoughts on the decade. However, Patrick has a dark secret that he keeps hidden from those around him; Patrick is a psychopath. This is a real shame, as I know from feedback that the prospect of an American Psycho steelbook got a lot of people very excited. I don't believe there are any new special features for this release,apart from the menu screen, and you can tell that they were put together around the year 2000 but i found them interesting anyway. At night however, he quickly descends into madness as he is filled with a compulsive need to kill and maim.Based on the controversial novel, the film offers a sharp satire to the dark side of yuppie culture in the ‘80s, while setting forth a vision that is both terrifying and chilling. But, if you have a wicked sense of humor, Christian Bale's breakout performance is reason enough to add this film to your collection.
