I believe taste is of the greatest importance given if you buy a foul protein you can't drink (this has happened to me multiple times), you aren't going to be getting any of the benefits. I have tried a wide range of other competitor brands, both high and low end, and although they don't always get it right (Peanut Cookie tastes very artificial/chemical-like) the majority of MP's products taste great.
