About this deal

I can't tell you which ones to buy because that's 100% up to you and your needs when it comes to makeup. Do you prefer an all matte neutral eyeshadow palette? A neutral palette with some shimmers? A palette with all warm tones? Or a palette with a focus on rosy shades with some neutrals and bronzes? sweetheart Ingredients: Talc, mica, silica, zinc stearate, boron nitride, ethylhexyl palmitate, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hexylene glycol, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, kaolin, carmine (CI 75470), manganese violet (CI 77742), iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), ultramarines (CI 77007). The way the shades are positioned within the palette, is great if you are in need of some inspiration. At first it looks quite random, but I have been enjoying using the rows as guides. To create some looks I wouldn’t have tried otherwise. If you want to keep it super warm, you can focus on the middle row across to create a orange toned look. A true warm toned lovers dream. Or if you are after a more neutral feel, the top and bottom row across offers more neutral and cool toned shades.

Look 1 – This is the first look that I tried with the palette. Needless to say, it is full on warm shades from the palette – it’s all about the burnt orange and metallic bronze.Needed a bit of variation in tone with regards to the shimmer shades. Out of the 3 main shimmer shades, two are variations of copper. Could have done with a more rust toned shimmer or a even a slightly plum-my one. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when I lean towards the most Tartelette in Bloom the most but Tartelette Juicy is definitely making its way up there with the rosy color palette! And that neutral undertone can easily be seen in the swatches. Yes it’s warm, but it is a very wearable warm toned palette. The warmest tones are housed in the middle and the other shades are more golden and brown. As you can see, pigmentation is great. One swipe of a finger gives you this result. The dark matte brown is a great staple and there are some good transition shades.

Eyeshadow palettes: my one true makeup love. And I have been acquiring a few again. I plan to review them all and one of those new additions to my makeup collection is Tarte’s Tartelette Toasted eyeshadow palette. Everyone went crazy for warm toned shadows in 2017 and Tarte was a little bit late to hop on the bandwagon. However, the Tartelette palettes are some of their most popular and the In Bloom version is one of my all time favorite palettes. Will I love Toasted just as much? Flame: Described by the brand as a metallic rust. This is a medium, warm, bronze shade with a metallic sheen. It has a smooth texture and excellent pigmentation without feeling dense. Quite easy to work with. Urban Decay Heat Eyeshadow Palette launched a few short months ago and it definitely remains the warmest, richest, and most pigmented selection of fiery nudes around. It in fact might have you questioning of you need the Tarte Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette if you already own Heat. There are three mid-toned shimmer shades in this palette, (Sunset, Flame & Simmer) and while they are all really beautiful, it would have been nice to see a bit more shade variety in the shimmers. The palette contains 3 light shades with different finishes, that can be used to highlight. As I love to wear matte’s on my brow bone and shimmer’s on my inner corner; S’more, Sunrise and Candle all fit the bill. This palette really offers a range of options, and can be easily transitioned from day to night looks. I have been starting most of my looks with Cashmere as a transition shade followed by Latte in my crease. This has been the most perfect duo to begin my looks, as it gives that perfect neutral base to compliment the rest of the shades in the palette tartelette™ in bloom clay palette Ingredients: Talc, mica, silica, zinc stearate, boron nitride, ethylhexyl palmitate, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hexylene glycol, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, kaolin, carmine (CI 75470), titanium dioxide (CI 77891), iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499).

The Tarte Toasted palette definitely has some similarities to the Urban Decay Heat palette. I don’t own the Heat palette, so I can’t compare them in terms of quality. However, I do own two other naked palettes and rate them very highly in my collection. The deciding factor for me was I wanted to try a palette from Tarte, as I was less familiar with their products. Even though the Heat palette makes me drool when I look at swatches, I felt the Toasted had a more wearable range of shades for my taste. That being said I’m not ruling out getting the Heat palette in the future. Both palette have 12 shadows and the price point is very similar. As is the amount of eye shadows in each pan, so there isn’t much between them. It really comes down to personal preference. The product consists of a metallic gold case. It has good weight to it and feels luxurious. It would make a great gift item for the Holiday season – by the look of it. The palette has a full size (full size of the palette) mirror and 12 eyeshadows. Each eyeshadow has the brand name embossed in it. There is no brush/applicator. The palette has shade names of the individual shadows mentioned underneath the shadow itself. It comes with a coordinated cardboard exterior box which has the ingredients listed on it in detail. This look has to be my favorite. It is warm, but has a very day time/ wearable look to it. This will be perfect to wear to the office or school. I love how this palette blends: these shadows pretty much blend themselves and a look like this can be whipped up in a matter of minutes. The Tarte Tartelette Toasted palette came out at the tail end of last year and captured my attention right away. As a self-proclaimed warm toned eyeshadow lover, I knew I wanted this palette for myself. After kindly receiving this palette as a Christmas present and have been putting it to the test ever since. jetsetter Ingredients: Talc, mica, zinc stearate, boron nitride, ethylhexyl palmitate, silica, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hexylene glycol, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, kaolin, carmine (CI 75470), iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), manganese violet (CI 77742), titanium dioxide (CI 77891). A couple of shades are low on pigmentation, but like I said, this may be by design because they do serve more than one purpose in the palette.

This really is a beautiful palette, the shadows are high quality and certainly don’t disappoint. I think the shade range is fantastic and really thought out. It offers great variety and flexibility but still comfortably sits in that warm toned family. Despite it being so warm toned, it’s really wearable and surprising versatile. Its a palette I have been reaching for non-stop and such a beautiful addition to my collection. I apply eyeshadows with a primer because my lids are way too oily. These shadows lasted a good 8-9 hours with primer. Without primer, my eyelids turn everything to mush. It would be especially bad for these shades coz of the softness of texture of these shadows. I've used all four Tarte Tartelette Eyeshadow palettes and want to share a look of each of them in this post. It’s late October now and dare I say the Tarte Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette released at just the right time? The new Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette has been hinted at since May. Yes, May! Everyone has been eagerly awaiting this warm, Fall-themed palette for months now but Tarte used some smart marketing to build the hype and release it at just the right time when the leaves are starting the change and the cool bite of autumn is in the air.You can apply these methods with the color eyeshadow palette of your choice. For a natural look, you'll want to choose an eye shadow palette with neutral hues, and pair it with a toned down lip gloss lip liner. Use a nude eyeshadow that matches your skin tone. This color will make an excellent base for all over the lid. To add some definition, blend a slightly darker shade of pigmented eyeshadow makeup into your crease. Depending on how much definition you want, use a darker shade to line the lash line. The latest addition in the Tartelette family is Tartelette Juicy! This 12 pan eyeshadow palette features a rosy color palette with gorgeous bronzes and neutrals. I have a full look of this eyeshadow palette here! Candle is the weakest shade for me, it’s very crumbly and has a lot of fall-out. It’s a beautiful shade but dipping your brush is creates a snow storm of powder. I still love it as an inner corner highlight shade but you have to be careful when using it as to not make a mess. Pigmentation If you're looking for a quality and in my opinion, one of the BEST eyeshadow palettes to add to your collection or if you're a beginner to make up. One (or all - you can't have too much makeup!) of these will be perfect splurge on!
