About this deal

It gets off to a strong start and there is a good deal of tension building up to firstly, Vince and Bristol meeting again after seven years , then to the big reveal of Jagger which I have to say was done spectacularly well. My heart was skipping beats. In between this you have a truly damaged soul which is Vince and it is a result of his abusive childhood. Each time the book had a dark moment, it was beautifully balanced with something funny or the pure delight that was Jagger. There is a scene where Jagger explains why his Daddy isn't in his life; Vince is absolutely and completely insufferable. I didn’t mind the chapters from Bristol’s POV nearly as much as I loathed the chapters inside Vince’s mind. I wanted to tear out my hair when it was his POV. I want more. More of Vince. More of Bristol. More of Jagger. More of this universe. Just more of everything, in the best way possible. She had a secret she’s keeping from him, something—or someone, that she needs to keep in mind, jagger was such a cutie, I truly understood why she didn’t tell him when they met again,

I don’t know what to do so I kiss him again. Soft and slow and unknowingly try to give him everything he needs but won’t say that he does. We already talked about this. Planned this. You’re going to go with me. Play in the local clubs wherever I go and try to be seen there. No one thought we’d last a month, yet here we are. It’ll be hard but we’ll make it work. We always have.” Vince and Bristol always had an undeniable chemistry, a loved that’s survived every since high school, but there’s things that have kept them apart…things in his past that caused there distance for years and years, I’ve never read a book by @kbromberg and after reading this book I’ll definitely scope out some more! Let’s get into what I loved about it—I—I don’t understand.” Emotion balls in my throat and chills chase over my skin. “You can’t go. We have plans.” I shake my head as if the action will help this make sense. It doesn’t. “But you—”

Triggers: View Spoiler » he was a manwhore while they were apart and that really upsets some readers « Hide Spoiler My heart jumps out of my chest as I scan the shadows of my room for whatever just yanked me from sleep. I loved the Synopis of this book. But this was utterly disappointing to me. This was the first time that I believed, that the h was correct in hiding her pregnancy from the H. Because if this was real, and I was her, I would've done the same. 🙄🙄 Besides those two gross moments, I loved the book, the writing was easy to read and I loved Bristol and jagger, and her mom!! Gosh I loved her so much. New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy, and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines, and damaged heroes who we love to hate but can’t help to love. Before bedtime: Many people find that reading before bedtime helps them unwind and relax, which can promote better sleep. While there may not be any other woman drama or cheating, Vince does sleep around during the period of time he and Bristol were apart. I mean, a lot. His excuse is that he was trying to get over her any way possible. There’s a lot of self-sabotage with him bringing himself down to the point where he actually believes he is incapable and unworthy of love.

But there’s something more to this kiss and the faint taste of beer on his tongue, and it takes me a few seconds to recognize it.I absolutely adore these two! Both are strong in their own ways and soft in others in a way that compliments them perfectly. I felt like I spent most of the book holding my breath, waiting for Vince to find out the secret and when he did... ugh!
